With all this Cornoa Virus stuff happening I bet you’re wonder how the fishing is? The weather has been perfect, the flows are under 3700 CFS and trending down and a few bugs on the water yesterday and today. It should be great… Right? It’s been pretty tough on the Flathead lately. Some days it’s not bad and some days it’s pretty tough. With that said… One of these days it’s gonna pop out on the river and the river is going to fish great! Given we’ve been having some great weather and rivers flows are stable why isn’t the river fishing better? Just a thought… Not to many fish in the river is my guess. Why is that? We haven’t really seen a big push of water to get the fish to move out of the lake and into the river system. Or… I suck and it’s just me? That’s always a thought that goes through my head but after much trying, changing flies, spots, depths I would think that those changes would have brought more fish to the net. With that said…
The weather is beautiful, the river is gorgeous, you will catch fish and you’re on the water. SO do you walk away happy at the end of the day? Yes! Get out there, tie on a pink worm, pink scud and enjoy some Montana Sunshine!
