Fishing Report, April 22
Winter has slipped it’s grip for a bit and it’s feeling more like spring in Montana. Temps above freezing, clouds in the sky, maybe a few rainy days… That’s what spring in Montana is all about. Fishing across the state is pretty awesome right now. Rivers are on the drop, clarity is great, bugs are hatching and the fish are hungry. The Flathead River is fishing great right now, local lakes are fishing great right now, Blackfoot River is fishing good right now and the Missouri River is on fire!
Fishing Report, Kalispell
Fishing in the Kalispell area is really good right now. The Flathead River is on the drop, bugs are hatching and fish are willing to eat dry flies. March Browns are the bugs to think about if you’re looking to throw dries. Right now the Spring Guide Special is still in effect… $400 for a 3/4 day. 6 hours on the river with all the equipment included. Really hard to beat. If the river blows out the local lakes are fishing great. We can get you on the river or the lake, we have great options for a fun day on the water.
Fishing Report, Whitefish

The Missouri River is fishing great right now! Nymphing is about as good as it gets, fish are up on dries and the streamer game is really good. Short and light with nymphs. Drag free drifts for the dries and get those streamers moving… Faster than you’d think. Spring Guide Special on the Missouri River is $500 for a full day trip. Everything is included and a nice riverside lunch… Hard to beat!
