July 10 Fishing Report

The Flathead River is flowing at 12,800 CFS and is on a nice long slow drop. Water temps peaked at 56 today and the weather was awesome! The morning started out cloudy with light rain. Some intermittent sun and rain all day produced some great fishing. PMD’s were on the water and fish were eating them. The weather over the next 7 days looks great, sunny with highs in the mid 70’2.

July 10 Fishing Report Flathead River

The Flathead River is in great shape right now and the fishing is good. PMD’s are going strong most days, clouds are the best days but sunny days are not bad either. Today we had good clouds and the fish were eating mayfly stuff most of the day. The big bug got some great eats too. I would expect the river to keep fishing well for the next few weeks while the mayflies are around. Green Drakes, caddis, and a few goldens are flying around.
